Reuniting at Dogman Nick’s funny farm, Smith and Jones recorded their first album in 7 years amid a sugar rush of bubblegum flavored French berries, white birch soda, and root beer fudge. Staring down the zeitgeist in a Mexican sober standoff, Smith & Jones reluctantly shoot first — from the hip — only to come out dancing in the rain with Matisyahu and a convent of wayward nuns. Thankfully, their graham crackers didn’t get soggy, and the record of this tall tale survived.
